Easy Homemade Vanilla Sugar

Fight food waste and save money with this food hack that gives you more than one use out of those expensive vanilla beans. Jason Barrows explains it all in this video on how to make vanilla sugar.

Add the sugar to an air tight container along with the spent vanilla bean.
Seal the container and give it a shake. Let the container sit in a cool dry spot for 2 to 3 weeks.
The vanilla will infuse the sugar. Remove the bean and the vanilla sugar can be used in everything from baked goods to coffee.
