Either way, this Pumpkin Chia Smoothie is the perfect addition to your addiction. Not only is it healthy and tasty, it's protein packed so you can kick some major ass come Black Friday.

Ingredients
½cup pumpkin puree
1tablespoon chia seeds
¼cup hemp milk
2tablespoons peanut butter
1banana
2teaspoons honey
¼teaspoon ground cinnamon
⅛teaspoon ground nutmeg
Pinch ground cloves
½cup ice

It's a smoothie recipe so there aren't any tricky instructions here. Just throw everything in a blender, blend, and then serve! So how about some Halloween history to read while your smoothie is blending? FACT: Did you know that the tradition of the Jack O'Lantern (pumpkin carving) was brought to the U.S. by Irish immigrants? Though, they didn't carve pumpkins back home ... they carved turnips. Pumpkins were abundant here and they found them much easier to carve than the turnip, as one would expect.
