Heirloom Tomato Bloody Mary Cocktail

Is there anything more offensive than store-bought Bloody Mary Mix? Okay, there is. But it ranks pretty high for me. Fresh bloody marys are easy to make and much tastier, like this Heirloom Tomato Bloody Mary Cocktail. Yum! Is it Sunday brunch yet?

    Bloody Mary Making 1
  • Add 6 ounces fresh heirloom tomato juice. I used Arkansas Marvel tomatoes for their sweetness.
  • Fill the glass 1/3 full with ice and cover with shaker, flip, and shake the hell out of it for 10 seconds.
  • Strain into a Collins glass over ice.
    Homemade Pickles 1
  • Garnish with fresh celery, pickled onions, or anything you love. I suggest these homemade cocktail pickles I showed you how to make yesterday.
