Is there anything more offensive than store-bought Bloody Mary Mix? Okay, there is. But it ranks pretty high for me. Fresh bloody marys are easy to make and much tastier, like this Heirloom Tomato Bloody Mary Cocktail. Yum! Is it Sunday brunch yet?

Total Time 5minutes
Ingredients
6ounces heirloom tomato juice
3ounces reposado tequila
¼ounce lemon juice
¼teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½teaspoon horseradish sauce
¼teaspoon celery salt
7Dashes Tobasco sauce
Pinch chili powder

Instructions
Add 3 ounces reposado tequila, 1/4 ounce lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 7 dashes Tabasco sauce, 1/2 teaspoon horseradish sauce, 1/4 teaspoon celery salt, a pinch chili powder, and a pinch black pepper.
Add 6 ounces fresh heirloom tomato juice. I used Arkansas Marvel tomatoes for their sweetness.
Fill the glass 1/3 full with ice and cover with shaker, flip, and shake the hell out of it for 10 seconds.
Strain into a Collins glass over ice.
Garnish with fresh celery, pickled onions, or anything you love. I suggest these homemade cocktail pickles I showed you how to make yesterday.
