VINTAGE 2011
This 2011 Austin Hope Grenache is one of the best wines I’ve had recently. Sexy aromas of plum, vanilla, and cinnamon meet between the sheets with notes of cherry, pepper, and tobacco. With all of that going on, this wine manages to stay balanced… and makes you scream for more!

Austin Hope Vineyard

Austin Hope is one of five labels by the folks at Hope Family Wines. This brand is named after Austin Hope, one of the winemakers and President of Hope Family Wines. He arrived in Paso Robles in 1978 with his parents and soon after the family planted vineyards and apple orchards. The family is well regarded in the area and in 2009, Austin won “Winemaker of the Year” at the California Mid-State Fair.

Hope Family Wines Barrels

While the estate vineyard is SIP Certified, and has been since 2009, this wine is not. That’s okay… how one grows their grapes is just as important! Once apple orchards, the are is now made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Mourvedre, and Grenache. Cheers to growing grapes in the way we love best, sustainably!
