2007 D'Anbino Cellars Orchestration

VARIETAL Red Blend
REGION Paso Robles
LIFESTYLE Vegan
ABV 14.80%
VINTAGE 2007
The 2007 Orchestration by D’Anbino Vineyard & Cellars blew me away with its floral, crushed rock, chocolate, and rose petal aromas. This wine is as much fun to smell as it is to drink! The palate’s fruit forward, but not jammy or overpowering. You’ll find chocolate here too. Super smooth and big on flavor, this hooch requires no food whatsoever.

D'Anbino Cellars Cork

Orchestration is a blend of 65% Syrah, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Petite Sirah. Despite playing second fiddle, the Cab is very noticeable… almost cock blocking the Syrah. At $28.00, it’s practically a steal; I’d pay up to the mid-thirties but don’t tell them that. Unfortunately the 2007 is not for sale on their site but the 2011 is, although quite different than its predecessor.

D'Anbino Cellars Tasting Room

Here in Paso Robles the D’Anbino family is known for live music. They often have bands, musicians, and singers on stage in their tasting room and don’t be surprised if you see the family up on stage. They are a very talented group of people and extremely down to Earth.

They also believe in being good stewards of the land and show that by being SIP Certified. I received some insider info when I was visiting their tasting room, that is, they are making the change to biodynamic. Good for them on taking the extra steps to care for this big blue marble. Cheers!
